ME1 LE keeps crashing after the fight on Therum before entering Liaras Bunker

When completing the fight against the Geth Walker in front of the base entrance on Therum, where Liara is - supposedly - inside, the game freezes. It seems to be related to my proximity to the entrance - as soon as I run up the ramp the game freezes and nothing happens. This happens independently from enemies being around or not. Does anyone have any idea how to make it in the bunker? If not, please fix Bioware/EA, since it is literally the first mission outside the citadel I am on, and it hinders progression in game. Thanks!

    @Unkn0wn_Guyy22 HI, are you playing on console or PC?

    If you're on a PC, can you try repairing/verifying your local files, then try again?


    Origin: Right-click the game panel to get the repair option. 

    Steam:

    1. Restart your computer and launch Steam.
    2. From a game's library page, select Manage > Properties.
    3. Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files... button.
    4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.

    I'm having a similar problem but much earlier in the level. Just before the first encounter with the turrets and your squadmates encourage you to go around and flank them. I am on xbox one x and the game just locks the screen but voice lines and audio still play. Is there any work around aside from never getting Liara?
