Is there is no interaction spot at all, or is it simply not working?
I figured out what happened, now I wish I knew why cause I lost 5 hours of gameplay because of it. On my first run through, when I entered the Normandy after talking to Anderson, the cut scene where Shepard speaks to Joker and addresses the crew didn't play, thus keeping me stuck in the airlock. I started a new character and everything played correctly this time. Airlock is working as well.

Have you figured out what triggered it? I have exactly the same problem and I am not gonna play the whole Citadel again ☹️
