ME2 Patch 1.04 for PS3

Dear customer support heroes,

I’ve recently purchased the Mass Effect Trilogy for PS3 and have just finished the first game.  I’m looking forward to playing ME2, but I need to download a patch in order for my character to import from ME1 to ME2. 

Unfortunately, I’m in a place here I have no means of connecting my PS3 to a network to download the patch.  Is there any way for me to download the patch via a direct link from your website to transfer over to my PS3  via thumb drive or CD?  From the reading I’ve done on the web recently, I believe it is patch 1.04 for PS3. It should enable me to import the save file for my character from ME1 into ME2.

I look forward to your reply.  I can’t wait to continue the series!

    Unfortunately the only way to install the patch is when your PS3 is connected to the internet. You only need internet access to download the patch though. You can play the game and any downloaded DLC offline afterwards and have the option to import your ME1 character still.

    Thanks brother. Sadly,I won't be able to imprort my character for a while.  So sad all those decisions I made in ME1 are for nothing.
