ME3 Black Screen on Startup.

Howdy, Boy has it been a ride. I spent all day trying fixes for ME3 and nothing. The first time I launched it would just run throught the opening video, then the main menu but its just a black screen and I got to hear a little bit of the main menu audio and it instacrashes.

Changed the resolution and made it windowed with the compatibility tool and it seemed to make it better. Now its the same thing but atleast it doesnt crash now. It's just still a black screen. I've tried many of the fixes found here, youtube and on google. Any fixes I might have missed? Thanks for the help

    @OhshiBoom 

    Please create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply.

    If you use Windows 7 also go to your Reliability monitor > Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time and copy and paste or type "perfmon /rel" (without the quotes) in the new Window > hit “ENTER” and look if it has entries for the game you have trouble with.

    If yes double click at the last entry for the game executable, copy the info to the clipboard, and save it to a text file.

     

    You can attach the DxDiag text file you created (and the “Reliability monitor” text file as well) to your post in the “Reply” window with the “Choose File” button.

    @OhshiBoom 

    • Please follow this guide to the letter to cleanly uninstall all NVIDIA components.
    • Install the newest NVIDIA driver > Go online.
    • Test.

    The "nvd3dum.dll" is a NVIDIA driver dll.
