ME3 Ledgendary Edition How to Beat Assassin at Cerberus Base

Question

How do you beat the assassin in the assault on the home base?

My ability to maneuver is extremely limited since I have lost all fine movement skills in my hands. I died 5 times in a row within seconds. I know futile when I see it and game is over...

Giving the assassin an instant kill with sword is overboard. If not for that I could probably manage my way through.

If there is no way around this the game is over as far as I am concerned. I have noticed going through the ME1-ME2 the game was unfriendly to handicapped people but I managed by playing the easiest setting possible and of course there were ways of dealing with one shot kills on the protagonist. ME3 seemed to be the most handicapped friendly of the previous 2 till I hit this snag. Andromeda was the most handicapped friendly of the series by the way.

Do you play on PC or console?

If you're on PC, maybe there's a method to make this easier with either mods or cheats, but I'd have to explore this further. Maybe you could use Windows speech recognition macros to bind a side dodge to voice commands, to more easily dodge Kai Leng's insta-kill.

If you're on a console, I can only offer general advice. If you are able to dodge his initial attack and keep your distance, you may be able to beat him with squad commands alone. So pause a lot and use squadmates to lower his shields.
