ME3 on PC asking to redeem an online pass after installing multiplayer DLC packs

Can anybody help me? My game's multiplayer  was working fine until I decided to download the multiplayer packs Earth, Rebellion and Resurgence. Now all of the sudden it's asking me to redeem/purchase an online pass. I tried looking at the Origin store for the said pass, but all they have are passes for PSN and Xbox.

Did a little digging, and it said that ALL NEW GAMES shouldn't even have to deal with this online pass crap. Patching to the latest versions of both Origin AND ME3 1.03 didn't work either. I repaired, re-installed, and updated the hell out of the thing and it still didn't work.

Can anybody shed some light into this? I'm quickly losing patience and am beginning to understand why piracy is such a thriving movement.

Thank you.

  • Just want to update on the problem I mentioned at the start of the thread. A few days after I first inquired here I got an email from somebody in Electronic Arts – World Wide Customer Experience. I have just finished following all of his instructions and am happy to report that so far the problem has been fixed. Even with the new DLCs in place I can still do multiplayer and single-player. Here's to hoping it will last. Will continue updating while I test-drive this new installation.

Nonethelss, cheers to the new answer HQ. I honestly thought the worst of it, being used to *really* horrible after-sales service in general. Glad to know at least they're making efforts to reach out to the players.
