In my experience as well, this occurs during the pre-Chronos station romance scenes on both PS3 and Xbox360. I have not downloaded either Omega or Citadel.
It is important to point out that these scenes have been fine every time in the past. It only seems to be the most recent patch that has introduced the glitch.
This is consistent with the scenes for Female Shep/Kaidan, Male Shep/Ashley,and Male Shep/Liara. I can't confirm the others.
Please fix this, Bioware. This isn't what I paid for.
In the meantime, is there any way to revert to the previous patch on a console? Or do all title updates have to be removed altogether and the game left unpatched?.

I still am baffled as to why a patch (1.05) that seemingly only addressed multiplayer issues would've affected animation in cinematic scenes?
There doesn't appear to be a way to remove individual patches on the consoles - you have to remove all title updates (all patches) - which then also renders you unable to use MP (for SP-only users, this might be moot). But still, there have been some improvements from other previous patches that you would no longer get.
So BioWare really needs to fix this bug -- or they need to just re-release patch 1.04 and figure out a way to let us use that only.

I deleted the title updates and this did fix the problem for me. Hopefully, though, we can get some kind of rollback to 1.04.
Anyone know what happens when you delete the title updates? Are you still able to access DLC?
I will not buy any of the flc until you guys fix this. Don't be horrible business people, just fix the blurry thing.

This is a very important scene for many longtime fans. It’s heartbreaking (for me, at least, given my emotional investment in the trilogy over the past few years) that this last patch may have compromised in perpetuity scenes that were undoubtly crafted with great care and attention to detail. What’s more, it would be such a shame if future buyers of this game, who (if they install all the patches as they now stand) will not have the opportunity to experience these scenes as they were intended.
I would respectfully ask, if nothing else, that Bioware at least respond to our concerns. Thank you.
Note: I have all DLCs and patches through 1.05 installed on the XBox I used to record the footage in the video mentioned above. I noticed these glitches after Patch 1.05 was installed (before the Citadel DLC was released). I believe Patch 1.05 also affects the PS3 romance scenes as well. It’s a console issue as far as I can gather – the PC version does not appear to be affected.
