ME3 Won't Launch

Hi, so I'm having some issues with Mass Effect 3. Every time I try to start it, it just pulls up origin, Origin reloads and nothing happens. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

In the meantime you can try this:

    • Make sure Origin and Steam are closed.
    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    • Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER
    • Delete the "License" folder.
    • Test.

  • Just figured I'd point out what worked for me. I was having an issue that looked a lot like yours and stumbled upon this article:

Walked through it with a customer support tech and was able to resolve the issue by removing and reinstating the game into my library. A word to the wise; make a note of what dlc you have for your game because the representative might not include that when he puts the base game onto your account. Hopefully this helps.

  • @holger1405 I deleted the license folder as you suggested and the game does launch properly now, so it seems like that did solve the problem. Cheers mate 🙂 thank you!!

  • I tried this and nothing is happening still pops up for a sec that i am playing the game but it doesn't load and i can press play again but nothing loads up not even the launcher for the game, I have reinstalled it twice also.

@ThatGuyDarby Are you also on Steam? Have you played the game on your current system before? Just to double check, you've tried the steps above with removing the license data?

I've tried both the deleting of the licenses folder and the unistall/reinstall of the PhysiX program. I'm at a loss. It worked back when I got it like 2 years ago then sat while I played other games. Not sure what to do any more. Maybe it fried when I merged accounts?

  • I have been trying to fix this for a while how and deleting the License folder as u suggested worked thank you so much mate you are a legend.👿
