Hi!As I’m sure you’ve seen in the title I’m a fan of your game MEA.I’m not going to pretend it is without it’s flaws but that being said, it’s still a great game.I for one was very saddened when I found out that you’d not make any DLCs for the game and that the franchise was put on ice.With MEA you created a great story foundation for other MEA games (such as MEA2 and MEA3 😛).And it is my sincere hope that you intend to create a sequel to MEA, you created a story that deserves to be told to its conclusion!I’m sorry for the hate and otherwise immature behavior of parts of the community and how it has affected the developers of this great franchise.I wish you well, and I hope that you’ll revive this series in the very near future.

I agree it is a great game! But no worries they will come back to it. Let them finish the cycles of Anthem and Dragon Age and we will get an awesome 3rd generation ME.Much love to all the genius that went into Andromeda. You guys are amazing!

First thing, I'd like to start by saying this just my opinion and mean no disrespect to anyone else as my mind tends to run a million times faster than my fingers can keep up so sometimes so things get lost in translation sort of speak.I personally love Mass Effect Andromeda, and hope that they continue the story further. With one game they gave us more than they have (story, character, setting the stage) then the first two ME games combined. Not only did the planets feel more alive, but the characters feel real and genuine. I'm not trying to say the game is perfect, but as a starting point for the Andromeda setting, it's a great foundation point for further exploration, character development and such.I sincerely hope that EA allows Bioware the same freedom they gave for Apex Legends (though maybe a little more), and allow them to develop a game that the Bioware developers want to develop with no outside influence/interference. The gaming industry as a whole is woefully lacking truely passionate projects that translates into the final product. I would love to see EA knock everyone out the park by giving free range to devs and just say, make that game come to life how you want, then step back and let them do their magic.I know the chase for the ever increasing profit point is never ending, but what if good developers were allowed to create finished products, with fleshed out story dlcs (not cut from the main game), perhaps where the APEX mission characters become actual in game NPC's. Now I'm rambling, lol.Sorry for this lengthy bout, but the original Mass Effect games were good games with memorable characters/places/events. Just give Mass Effect Andromeda a chance, and I think the fans would be impressed with the outcome when it done. And remember, you can't rush perfection.Once again, this is just my opinion.

Unfortunately nowadays players want instant satisfaction and have unrealistic expectations. As soon as there's something they dislike/disagree it, the rage birds come out (even if a game is in beta). Then they lambaste it publicly as much as they can because they can't control themselves. It's pretty sad.

This game desverves it's DLC. I was extremely disappointed when I saw it was cancelled. I really enjoyed it.Not sure I want to try or buy anthem if good games get "dumped" because of bad reviews or a lack luster start. Why invest the time or money.EA if you want my money finish this game first.

MEA:2 A story that deserves to be told!

The issue is that they always remove parts of the game to release it as DLC and since ME:A didn't do well enough...as in, $$$, they abandoned the game and stuck with the MP for a little while since that made them money....otherwise Mass Effect is outright dead.
Right now, they are focusing on butchering Anthem by forced grouping for freeplay and Dragon Age with more crappy tactical combat (which i am not a fan of personally), but otherwise the concept was always good.

Andromeda is dead but, the the ME franchise still has a strong base and a good history, so it's a valuable IP.
EA meddles way too much in the development of games. In particular trying to force business models onto them. They crippled the Star wars Battlefront franchise and outright killed the Dead Space franchise with microtransactions. While it wasn't ME:A's business model that did it in, EA helped to hamper development so bad the game didn't have a chance to find it's legs and recover.

I would disagree in terms of story and setting; I thought ME2 is tops for that (although the awful combat and "RPG" system practically ruined the game). But I do maintain ME:A has the greatest potential of all. I would have loved to have seen more DLC which I imagine would have included more planets and the Quarian ark and probably a new squad mate or two.

The problem is Bioware now faces an uphill battle. It's akin to the Star Wars battlefront series. The first bombed and gave the franchise a bad reputation and Battlefront II was looked on with a lot of wariness. ME now has this problem since Andromeda was poorly received. Bioware (or more specifically EA) needs to avoid making the same mistakes, i.e. step back and let Bioware do their thing.

Even if Bioware were to close the IP is still there and another developer under EA could make one.

My introduction to the ME world was MEA. I enjoyed MEA and became curious and went back in time to check out the ME triology for the first time. N7 for life! I purchased all DLCs and extras in the ME brand and played multiple playthroughs of all titles. I am very disappointed in how the business EA treated everyone who enjoyed MEA. The haters were given way too much power and influence. Surely they will end up being the death of their organization if EA does not respect loyalty of the fans. I will not play any more EA games unless ME/MEA is reinstated. Not everyone is into free battle royale or multiplayer games either! I cannot respect an entity that has no regard or loyalty for the fans! Haters reign supreme in influence! As far as the greed motivations are concerned for the stakeholders, I was new money for them. We the gamers are also their QA. Gaming franchises are too cheap to spend on quality but want quick profits. Bad business.
