ME:LE Priority: Rannoch questions.

Hey, just wanted to see if anyone else has had this same issue. EA Support couldn't help and directed me here.

Per the title, trying to save both the Quarian and Geth at the end of Priority: Rannoch. I've completed every mission that is possible up to this point in ME3, including both Omega and Leviathan. The screenshots show what I've done in all the games, but I'll also list it here:

Required
- I've got over 4 bars of Paragon reputation.

- Tali and Legion are both present

- The Geth Fighter Squadrons were defeated

Points

- Prevented Tali's exile in ME2 and did not reveal what her father did. (+2 points)

- Brokered peace between Tali and Legion after Legions loyalty mission using the Paragon option to subdue them both at the same time. (+1 point)

- Completed Rannoch: Admiral Koris (+1 point)

- Saved Admiral Koris in Rannoch: Admiral Koris (+1 point)

As you can see, I've done everything except to destroy the Heretics in Legion's loyalty mission in ME2, but that shouldn't be needed in this case, since I've done everything else and the hidden point count needs 'at least 5 points' to allow the cease fire to be an option. Does anyone know if they've changed it so you need 6 or 7 points in ME:LE instead, as part of the war asset update they did?

Thanks!

  • Oh, I did just figure this one out. If you think you meet all of the requirements, you first have to choose the "Upload" option, then you'll get to the point where you can try to persuade them to make peace. I was hesitant to try this at first because I didn't want to see the Quarians get shredded.

Well, I did all that you have done except that I destroyed the Heretics, then again, I always destroy the Heretics 😗🎶🎶

My primary character is altruistic and, to force my will on the Heretics would be no different than what Sovereign was trying to do, though I’m always tempted to rescue Koris’ crew instead. Maybe I’ll try that the next time I play.

You’re right, though, at least according to the old rules… you should’ve gotten the ceasefire ending and both races. Figures that EA can’t give you a strait answer. You might see if there’s a way to ask Bioware directly. Good luck 😃
  • I'm also running into this in my playthrough. I meet the exact same requirements as you, but was very disappointed when the option to make peace didn't show up.

  • @Zachafinackusi rewrite the heretics, saved Koris, and finished other missions left up to the point i only had left priority Rannoch were my dialog was upload the code then paragon option to stop the fleet quarion fleet from attacking 🙂.
Now you need to heave at least 4 bars of reputation before you complete Rannoch mission, second you need to do Leagion's quest where you get uploaded to geth servers saving the quarions live ships. And you need to get at least 5 points from ME 2 like "Prevented Tali's exile in ME2 and did not reveal what her father did", you also heave to save Kal'Reegar when you recruit tali in ME 2. If you rewrite the geth you get 0 points but i did it and i still got the posibility so save both of them. After the geth dreadnought mission, you get 2 side quests, first finish Admiral Koris(paragon make him upload his coordinates, after that do the geth fire squadrons mission. After you kill the reaper if you heave at least 5 points, after talks are ended you heave to pick the option upload the code after that use the paragon option Rally the fleet if you don't heave that paragon/renegade option then you heave missed something. I hope it helps.

Just here to add that this is definitely not the case. Destroying the Geth Heretics in ME2 is not needed to resolve Priority: Rannoch peacefully. The items OP listed under Required and Points are sufficient.

From how I play (original or mele) I got to make peace every time.

In me1 give data to Tali

ME2 I am always nice with quarian and save those who can be saved. Tali's trial: point out that is a political BS and the Admiralty board will withdraw the charges. Take the compromise option when Tali is trying to shoot Legion. Overwrite the heretics to increase the geth numbers.

ME3. The order of missions is ok as presented, but, defend Legion and aprove every time when it comes about his actions and choices. Also help out in paragon way on the 2 side mission when you can choose to help civilians over increasing defense or collecting scraps.

During your visit to geth server stay and watch every "memory" fragment as some flags might be marked only at the end of the scene and it won't happen if you move away before you see all it is to be seen.

In terms of Reputation, that's how the reputation looks like in my case

    and if you prefer numbers:

At the right time, I got both options blue and red dialog pick in order to secure the peace.

    I hope that helps

  • I'm having my own issues after the fact thanks to this bar system the game has and not being able to check the numbers. I can't tell if this is full paragon or if I've missed something which is insanely irritating for me. My bar looks similar to this one, so can someone tell me if this is full paragon or not?
