Military Readiness Reached 8135 Before Assault on Earth

I though you could only go to 8000 on Military Readiness in Legendary Mass Effect 3 but I checked it after the assault on Cerberus Base and it said 8135. I normally max out at around 7200-7300 but I tried to play a perfect game. Still there were 2 quests I could not complete on Omega. I never seem to be able to complete them.

  • @jdbassjr  I believe this is normal.  I've heard the max is 8,500, but some of that requires you to have completed DLC from Mass Effect 2 (and possibly 1, but I'm not sure) that didn't come with the original base game.  Or another character might have needed to survive ME2.  As an example, in 3, there's a mission called Citidel: Hanar Diplomat where you can [spoiler, just in case]

    Spoiler
save the Hanar homeworld, for 50 EMS, OR save the Spectre agent you're helping with the investigation, for 40 EMS.  You can't do both unless you recruited Kasumi in ME2 and she survived the suicide mission, in which case she shows up at the end of this sidequest.  And if she was loyal in ME2, you gain her as a war asset (25 EMS) as well.  Kasumi is part of ME2 DLC that is included in the Legendary Edition, but you may not have owned that DLC in the original ME2.

For the Omega sidequests, it might help to read the guides linked here:
