@SofaJockeyUK The problem with this statement is that ME3 also got progressively more difficult over time. New enemies were added (geth pyro, dragoons, etc.) And even if that wasn't true, ME3 NEVER had bullet sponge problems. Sure if you were using an un-upgraded avenger without mods/weapon damage on gold you weren't gonna kill things fast, but now unless you use a select few setups, you're *. The commons in ME3 were easily silver viable, now they aren't, which makes getting to a decent power level insanely tedious. Powers are just *, gimped versions of that they used to be with triple and sometimes quad times higher cooldowns (rip singularity) and less damage. Yeah, things weren't as easy in ME3 as they are now, but it 100 percent wasn't nearly as bad as this, coming from a ME3 veteran with a near maxed out manifest.
Yeah I'm quite sad that there is literally 3 worthy weapons to use. Equalizer, Vanquisher and black widow.
I was hoping the shotguns would be decent atleast but nah.. Its like tickling the enemy with a feather.

@Jandeboi For me the Talon is the "Vanquisher" of the pistols. Detonated targets can only take 1 or 2 shots of that on gold.

@Tuinbonen Oh yeah, I totally forgot the talon. Four viable weapons. I use the talon when playing (very rarely) the krogan vanguard.
- Anonymous9 years agoI'm going to call total bull on there only being 3 viable weapons to use. There are a few that are under powered and a few that are OP but the vast majority are totally usable. My favorite build is running around with the soned as the turian soldier and I wreck just about everything.
Viable and overpowered are not the same thing.
