Ever since the rumors have started circling, this question has been floating around in my head. Even though I played ME2 multiplayer like crazy for almost a solid year, a vast majority of players skipped MP completely. In a game like Halo, it makes sense to put in the resources and remaster both the campaign and the multiplayer experience. But, however fun, Mass Effect wasn't known for its multiplayer aspect and even though I would love to see it refreshed, I doubt it will. More than likely it will be campaign only as the rumors have suggested. Bioware is probably swamped already with the Anthem overhaul, early development on the next ME game and they are in deep development with the next Dragon Age so their plates are full. One question I hope to have answered soon is if Bioware is doing the work themselves, or if they hired out a 3rd party to remaster it for them. Both sides have their advantages and disadvantages.
N7 day is literally right around the corner and I'm putting my chips into an official announcement. Let's hope it pans out! :D
The odd thing is that if they don't include the multiplayer that leaves only one way for people to boost their readiness rating, with the Galaxy at War map at the N7HQ.
I'm actually wondering if they don't include multiplayer in the remaster, are they going to bother keeping the N7HQ up?

I'm actually wondering if they don't include multiplayer in the remaster, are they going to bother keeping the N7HQ up?I think N7HQ and ME3 co-op are tied to the same online profile, so perhaps you can boost readiness in the remaster by playing multiplayer in classic ME3. That would require two installs, though.
I wish they'd just include it, though. Despite its simplicity, ME3 co-op is some of the most fun I've had in a multiplayer game.

That's the saddest thing I've heard, I got excited when I saw the pre-order option and now unfortunately I don't think I'll be getting it unless they bring back the multiplayer
