New patch?

So much hype for a shoddy release full of bugs that I won't even get a refund for.

First set of comments under the video.

There is already a Mod that restores 3-melee to the game, as well as Mods that improve lightning and shadow maps. 
They are not broken, but developers almost never have the time to make anything perfect, so there is always room for improvement.

@holger1405That is amazing, and the modding community is to be commended and I hold no ill will against those who signed the NDA if true, but if we haven't tolerated the state the following games released: Witcher 3 (yes it had its fair share of glitches and bugs but the community took a more sarcastic approach when we pointed them out), Fallout 76, No Man Sky, Cyberpunk 2077 and more, why can't we find peaceful ways to point out the Legendary Edition apperantly shortcomings. Yes, the PC community will get most issues fixed by themselves or other gamers, but frankly that isn't the modders job (unless the company is paying them like both Bethesda and CD Projekt Red does), will console players from now on have to get set that we won't be getting our issues fixed?

Note: you can offer criticism (good and bad) without screaming and behaving like a child, take a breath and go ahead and write what you want to say in a paper and then, after reading it that you can hear it, analyze if it is both respectful and to the point.

Sure, we can say that there is room for improvement, but I think that's to trivialise the problems with LE.

We got nothing really new content LE, instead it’s packed with new bugs and issues. It’s a cheaply done and rushed re-release on full price.

And worse than this: a new generation of player will play this inferior version instead of the originals because “the new is always better” and because “4K is everything” mentality.

More than a dozen major errors have been reported on this forum and it is not the job of the modders to fix them. Even that won't help console gamers.

I see this, as a big problem, because this groundbreaking sci-fi series and the original creators works deserve much more than a damaged, incomplete and clearly rushed re-release.

Why should anyone be "ill willed" against Modders that signed a NDA? 

No company in the world would ever share sensitive data with people outside their employee base without letting them sign a NDA.

The Modders that signed this NDA are the creators of the toolset, and therefore the most respected people inside the ME modding community. 

There is no new patch coming, it would be here a long time ago if Bioware would have planed anything above what they already did.
There is no way to change that, so I would suggest to deal with it.

The game works just fine on consoles as well.

Bioware made it crystal clear from the get go that it would be a remaster and not a remake. 
And what you get is 3 games and 40 DLC for the price of one game. 😉

I've said it before, Bioware could have made more out of the MELE in my opinion too, but I strongly disagree with the notion that the Mele is a inferior version.
For me the changes in Mass Effect 1 alone make it a worthy buy.

And despite what some people here think, there are a tone of Bug fixes in the MELE.
It is true that many Bugs are not fixed, there are reasons why the got not fixed, to risky, to expensive and so on.

That a new version of a game is introducing new bugs is just not not preventable, Bioware did fixed the worst of them, the bugs that prevented a lot of folks from playing.

Furthermore, looking at this forum, where all problems of a game are reported, often gives a wrong impression of the state of the game. 
Not all of these problems occur for all people nor do all people perceive problems in the same way.

It is also true that it is not our job to fix it, but most of us have fun doing it. And that is because Bioware gave us this amazing new world we all learned to love.

The "original creators" left most of the bugs that still are in the MELE unfixed as well. 😉
I said this too before, you will never see a AAA game without bugs, and you will never see a game where all the bugs are fixed, especially when it is an RPG of this massive size.

Everyone has to decide for themselves whether that is good enough for them or not.

If not it is a easy decision, just don't buy the next game.
