[Old Report] Unable To Launch Game Through Steam/EA App

I have the MELE on Steam. Several months ago, the EA app started to become involved with launching - which slowed the launch down but I could still play. Now, I can't even launch the game. I run the ...

I got it to work with the EA app by clicking on the three lines in the top left above Home then clicking Settings>Application>Disable In-Game Overlay.

I was having this issue in both Mass Effect 3 and ME:LE.

@FoxMcCloudl Great! Thanks alot .. after searching for like 2 hours this is the solution. DEACTIVATE the In-Game-Overlay.
