As per this person's topic, I am also experiencing the same thing.

Additional info, I just recently reformated my computer. My Origin is installed in my C drive whereas my games are installed in my D drive. After reformating my C drive, I reinstalled Origins and "redownload" my games (ME3, Crysis 1,2,3). I have no problem playing Crysis but ME3 is the one having the problem.

I am also using GeForece Experience to launch the game. When I tried using GeForce Experience to launch, it opens an Error "Origin is not installed, and is required to play your game. Please reinstall Origin."

please be aware that Origin has launched a revised site, as of today. Please login to Origin and you should be instructed to update Origin with this new BETA. There are new forums and help articles there as well which address some of your issues. Good luck to you.

That isn't working for me, Origin isn't giving me the update thingy. I just want to play mass effect 3... I've paid for it and now nothing seems to be working. Ive tried everything.😕mileymad:

Alright, I have had this problem.
I fixed it via this:
1.) Uninstall Origin (by the uninstaller provided in the Origin folder) {I also habitualy ended the origin.exe process in the taskmanager prior to this, don't know if thats relevent though)
2.) Downloaded a fresh installer from the origin website http://www.origin.com/download.
3.) Reinstalled Origin {I happen to have it installed on the same partition that ME3 is on, however this should not be relevent.}
4.) Magical voodoo (nah, I'm just kidding)
5.) Ran ME3 from Origin, didn't get the Origin (EA) is no longer running" error.

As a note, I did try out the solutions privided by EA (firewall issues), however this had no apparent effect (still had the error).
Additonaly, when I reinstalled Origin, it updated, might be what actualy fixed it. (It also complained that my cloud save was 1 min older than the save on my computer.)

I was looking in this topics because i'm playing to mass effect 3 but i'm not able to raise the galactic readiness because there are no multiplayer servers. Is there a solution or I will never have the perfect play because the server are closed.

Ok, here is  your guy's fix. The problem is that the mass effect game talks to a specific directory and since you didn't install origin to the default location "Program files (x86)/origin", The game was attempting to use a wrong directory to connect to the EA servers. To fix, Install origin without changing the install directory. Allow it to install to C:/Program_files(x86)/Origin

Just ran into this problem.  I didn't have to uninstall.  I just ran the update and it worked.  Thanks for the link.
