Paramour II trophy bug | Mass Effect 2 (PS4/PS5)

Hello everyone,

yesterday I completed my relationship with Liara in Mass Effect 2 (like in ME1) but no trophy appeared. During my research I found out that there is a trophy bug and it has (probably) already been fixed by a patch (1.3).

What exactly has the patch been fixed? Does Liara now count for the trophy or what should/can I do?

Is there an official statement of EA?

Hey @d0rfkind,

Since Liara's romance in Mass Effect 2 was originally only available with optional Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC, that did not count towards the Paramour achievement I'm afraid.

No changes to that were made in the Legendary Edition, so you'd need to complete a romance with a different character for this particular achievement.

I can still call Tali up to the cabin as if I did the romance but no trophy, quite frankly when I did that on the 360 I reloaded an earlier save and made sure to have an auto save without Tali romanced.
I did it before and got the romance scene with garrus. It even says that i romanced him when i import my save to me3

@toeegg Ok, yeah so you are getting the cutscene as it should happen BUT not getting credit, my case is that I did the romance subplot after the Suicide Mission (easier to reload as if it never happened) and it got credited with the achievement on 360 in the original release yet now it just goes to a black screen without any type of trophy being awarded.

Same issue here one Xbox Series X - romanced Liara in 1 and got the achievement, then Miranda in 2, but no achievement, and my import also says I romanced her when I started ME3. I reloaded the save and have romanced Jack and Tali instead and no achievement (cutscenes for all worked fine.)
In my ME3 run, I romanced Liara and Paramour II popped but not III. Tried reloading but no achievement for III. Went back to 2 and retried from my save and nothing.
I have seen some linking this to the Insanity achievements, but I got those for 1 and 2 just fine.
Frustrating!
