[PC] Cannot launch ME:LE
I'm sure loads of topics like this. I am unable to launch ME:LE from neither Steam nor EA. I tried making Ea launcher and the other EA app run as admin, and the ME launcher as admin. Tried th...
Do you get an error message when you try to launch MELE or what is happening?
Also to check, do you own it via Steam, the EA app, or an EA Play subscription?
When you have a moment, we can try the following if we want to wait on trying a new Windows account.
Thanks!
I get the 'prepping game' loop, where I try to launch, and just says prepping game for a few minutes then stops
I have the steam version
Game is for steam thus I do not see this option in the EA launcher I believe, but i have done so in steam.
I have done this step a few times when trying.
I have gone thru these as well with support, last step being clean boot before they sent me here.
I had not tried this step, however, all were currently existing.
Did try a few steps again but still no launch. The "launching game" pop up shows, then "prepping game", then they don't actually launch the game or launcher. I try running the ME launcher manually too but that will do the same thing.
I don't want to do a new windows account as if its something to clean on my PC I'd rather learn to do that than leave remnants.
There are several possible workarounds posted in this thread.
If nothing in there helps create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.
After trying most steps, Nvidia setting reboot, license move (which the folder is still empty if that means anything), only thing I hadn't been too sure on was the RealTek porition, I have RealTek but didn't see any Nahimic;
now loading the ME:LE Launcher tells me
"Origin is not installed, and is required to play your game. Please install Origin."
So I shall now try downpatching to Origin, but may try this when on an internet connection as opposed to my current hotspot.
quick sidenote i forgot, I may also try the Bluetooth mobo thing. Sometimes, the bluetooth in the windows pane will actually blue screen my laptop so I feel like I should do this reguardless haha

I do not see any port issues ☹️ but im not super savvy I just know my way around a computer.
Any advice on downgrading origin or next steps?
