PC Controller Suddenly Not Working

I'm 46 hours in game, on ME2 and just today if decides not to work. I haven't updated anything or changed anything. I've restarted everything, updated everything, and still nothing. Works perfectly fine on the launcher, does nothing in the game. EA Support was no help and I'm at a loss.

    @holger1405 A guy over Steam actually solved the issue. For some reason Steam's settings decided to mess with the controller one day. What you have to do is go into Steam>Settings>Controller>General Controller Settings> And unclick everything but Xbox Controller & Xbox Extended Support. Don't know why it's an issue after 46 hours of gameplay but I'm just happy its working again.

    How is the controller connected?

    Did you tried to repair the game?


    (Origin > Game Library > right click MELE > Repair)
    (Steam > Game Library > right click at MELE > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)

    I'm having the same problem and this solution does not work.  Are there any other known solutions I could try?

    I am having this issue as well and the Steam solution doesn't work because I play through Origin. I have tried repairing the game files through it and nothing got fixed
