[PC] Mass Effect 2 DLC crashing game
Ok,
so recently i bought Mass Effect Trilogy + all DLC and i have problems running Mass Effect 2 + DLC - when i start game everything is fine and dandy - problems start when i try to import ME1 character or start new game - when i click one of following options, menu disappears and i can see only background and ... nothing happens. I narrowed this failure down to the DLC - when i turn off origin and change name of folder "DLC" to something different like "_DLC" i can normally start game or import ME1 character. One more strange thing - when i have DLC's achievement images are blanks with "IMG*" written over. When i disable DLC's it comes back to normal. In my crusade to run ME2 i tried:
1. Clean install with cleaning reg with CCleaner - i tried to reinstall at least 3 times
2. Repairing my install - also at least 3 times
3. Origin and ME2 executable are "run with admin rights"
4. I tried all possible combinations with compatibility mode
mode
5. PhysX driver update
6. DxDiag attached
I'm running out of options - i'll be thankful for all new idea's. 🙂

Ok, so i tried literally everything and finally found the solution.
So if anyone encounter similar problem - solution for me was completely uninstalling Origin, all Bioware Games + reg cleaning of ANYTHING related to Bioware (games as KOTOR 1/2 or similar) and then clean install.
So ... problem solved topic ready for closing 🙂.
