PC ME 1 Legendary Edition (Keys not responsive)

I recently installed the ME Legendary Edition and am playing ME1 currently.  For some reason the keys do not work to access the escape menu, inventory or map.  They simply aren't responsive.  Restart...

No other controllers or control devices connected. I'll try restarting when I get home.
