[PC] ME1 crashes on specific locations.

Question

My game crashes on very specific locations, it crashes when entering Chora's Den at any given time (expect for the mission to go deal with Fist).

It is also crashing on the planet Therum, right after you make the first U-turn and drive up the hill.

The game simply crashes, Windows says that the program stopped working and that's all I'm getting. I had this problem, tried starting a new game, but the problem persists.

I am using Windows 8 and my game is patched to the latest patch available (V1.02).

Any ideas of what the problem might be?

(The game wasn't starting after I installed, it began to run fine after updating to 1.02, but it still crashes on those specific locations)

Try to repair the game. (in Origin &gt; my games &gt; right click ME1 &gt; Repair Game)

I know this is three years later, but did you ever figure this out.&nbsp; I'm new to Origin and playing Mass Effect is my first experience.&nbsp; I'm supposed to go to Chora's Den but the game crashes every time I try to go there.

The word I've seen on crashes such as those is that they are linked to a damaged file, either the save is partly corrupted, or a game file is damaged.&nbsp; Have you tried dfferent saves going to the same places?&nbsp;
