    If you are on a PC try to repair the game.


    (Origin > Game Library > right click MELE > Repair)
    (Steam > Game Library > right click at MELE > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)

This has happened to me on my second playthrough of the game. I've never seen a game with so many bugs/glitches at launch, and then manage to get NEW bugs/glitches after so called patches.
