Please make Mass Effect Legendary available on Mac

None of the Mass Effect games are available on Mac. I would pay 2x to be able to play them on my Mac that does 5K video. I played ME2 on a PS4Pro for the first time with MELE and the PS4 controller is clunky. There are other BioWare games available directly on MacOS and iOS without the Origins app: Knights of the Old Republic, Baldur's Gate and Jade Empire. Dragon Age, one of the best BioWare games that was created around the same time, is available on Mac with the Origins app. Is there a plan to make MELE available on MacOS?

  • @nebouzi  There is no information about a Mac version of the MELE, and I doubt it's even being considered.  It would take essentially remaking the game to a large extent to create a version compatible with macOS, likely for very little payout.  Most people who use Macs, myself included, who are interested playing non-Mac games have arranged to do so either in Windows or on a console.  The MELE does run quite well on my Bootcamped Mac, and installing Windows through Bootcamp is quite straightforward.

If you have an Intel Mac with the drive space to dedicate to a Windows partition, and you'd like help with the Bootcamp process, feel free to ask.

  • UGGGGH! REALLY???????????????????

Damn latest generation of gamers are daft in the head and just do not get it! Bioware has other fish to fry (hypothetically and metaphorically speaking.) Bioware is officially a defunct company and is still overseen and ran by Electronic Arts. And the only reason why the game was remastered in the first place was a petition to remaster the game. They have moved on and only care about how much money they are making from their pet cash-cow franchises of Battlefield and COD!
