Yup, atleast i can avoid preston forever. Cant do the same with SAM and the terrible monotone voice.
If the next time I load up the game I hear SAM ask "Is this a good time for that talk?" I swear I'm going to lose it.

Possible fixes;
Move the environmental reminder to 15% health remaining. Then SAM is telling you you're dying rather than being annoying...
... put a timer on the mining reminder of about 100 minutes, if it's told you once, it'll not tell you again for a good long time...
Another option would be to check the conditions when these mining opportunities trigger SAM's notifications. I received numerous mining notifications from SAM on Eos after I've already mined those areas.
