@kizmiazz7 Please try setting ME1 to only use your dedicated graphics card. Hit Windows key-i, select System > Display > Graphics settings, click the Browse button, and add MassEffect1.exe. Then click Options and choose "High performance." This will tell Windows to use the eGPU even when it could default to the Intel graphics chip.
If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post. Hit Windows key-R, enter "dxdiag" without quotes, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. You can attach it to a reply here.
@puzzlezaddict Thanks for responding. I followed your steps and the issue persists. I already ensured that only my external GPU is being used to drive my primary (gaming) monitor. I have confirmed that only my eGPU is being used that during gaming using the Radeon Adrenalin software.
As I mentioned, the game runs fine with triple digit fps, its just the pre-rendered cutscenes (eg: when the Normandy is flying in space) that stutter and essentially play in slow motion, out of sync with the audio.
Please find my dxdiag attached for your reference.

@kizmiazz7 As it turns out, I have almost exactly the same Mac as you: the only difference is I don't have quite as powerful a CPU. I also don't have an eGPU, but it's still a useful comparison. I'll install the game and take a look myself and get back to you on that tonight.
In the interim, try setting the user DPI to 100%, at least temporarily. It shouldn't matter in theory, but it's worth testing. You can always change it back afterwards.

Please also set the refresh rate for your ROG monitor to 60 Hz, again at least long enough to test. It's another thing that shouldn't matter but is easy to try.
- 4 years ago@puzzlezaddict Thanks man, that'd be great! I've already tested 60hz and 100hz and neither resolves the issue. I will try setting the DPI too 100% and get back to you when I have the chance.

@kizmiazz7 I only had a little time to test tonight, but didn't see any issues with lag in cutscenes. On the other hand, I only played up to where Shepard first lands on Eden Prime, and I won't have time to get much farther in-game. So if you have a save from just before one of the cutscenes you know lagged, I'd love to borrow a copy and test that, just for comparsion.
You could also try running the game only on the Pro 560, no eGPU, at least long enough to get through a cutscene. While it wouldn't be ideal, it's certainly a workaround if you find yourself repeatedly dying because a cutscene is running at half speed. By the way, playing at 1920x1200, my fps was mostly 44-48 on Eden Prime, a consistent 60 on the Normandy (I did have v-sync on by default at that point), and locked at 30 in cutscenes, which is eminently playable if not the lovely >100 fps you're getting otherwise.
On the other hand, if the cutscenes still lag for you, that means we need to look elsewhere, so it's also useful information.
