[PS3] Normandy Elevator Freeze

the game repeatedly freezes on the normandy elevator. The freeze occurs when trying to go to the crew quarters, engineering, or the docking bay. I recently purchased both From Ashes and Leviathan. I had to remove and reinstall both DLC's numerious times. I have given up on the 2 DLC's for now and i am just running the game with the 1.05 patch and the extended cut. I've deleted and reinstalled the game file numerious times with no avail. The freeze is still occuring. PLease HELP!

Hi bidet209,

Have you already tried to clear the Game Data utility for Mass Effect 3?

To do that go to the XMB and the Game menu. Scroll up to Game Data Utility and find Mass Effect 3. Please make sure that you really go to the Game Data Utility and not the Saved Data. You cannot restore a saved game once you deleted it.

Delete the Game Data Utility info for ME3 and restart the console. You can redownload the DLC via Account management – Transaction History – Download List. Redownload all DLC for ME3 including the Online Pass. Once done, restart ME3 and you’ll be prompted to re-update.

Ok... So, what if the same thing hgappens on 360? I've only just bought From Ashes and Leviathan, and the same thing is happening as with bidet209's problem. I can't get to Engineering or the Shuttle Bay, but everywhere else is fine. But, like I said, I'm on Xbox 360, any advice?

I'm having this same problem, got to the point in the game where you leave the citadel for the first time and when I'm on the Normandy every time I try and use the elevator it just freezes a blank screen comes up and after about five minutes I get a error message saying something about a disk error. I've played this same copy of mass effect all the way through before with no problems at all and now I'm playing with an imported Shepard and I can't get past this freezing. I don't have any dlc and I have tried deleting my game file, restarting my PS3 and re downloading but I still have the same problem.
