I discovered a little issue by accident. If, when you reach the bomb site for the first time, you interrupt Joker's lines by talking to a squadmate, the Normandy never makes an appearance and you become stuck, forcing you to reload.
Just letting you all know. It's not too grave of a bug, because the game doesn't allow you to save when that happens and screw up the whole mission, but still. Cheers
I have the same bug. Any idea if they plan to fix this? The latest update mentions nothing about it.
If you cut off the speech before planting the bomb on Virmire, you get a bug where you can’t progress the fight with Saren. This is a very old bug that apparently is back in the LE. Hopefully BioWare/EA can fix this so I can get back to the journey.
@hp65zrk25ct8 They didn't fix any vanilla scripting bugs for the remaster, and it doesn't appear that they intend to ever do so. Hopefully you have a save from before that event so you can continue playing.
….I actually don’t. That sucks, man. I’m fifty hours in and was rattling my brain on a workaround. This ticks me off. For a release this big, why wouldn’t they bother? Because EA?
I’m having this problem too, after shepherd grabs kaiden, the display turns black and apparently while it is black you’re walking on bombsite, but it doesn’t load to next cutseen!
i’ve got no more save! How can we tell ea to fix this!
Even replaying from my latest save, which is before entering bomb site(breeding site?), doesn’t fix it.

That is probably a different issue than OP has.
If you play on a PC try to repair the game.
(Origin > Game Library > right click MELE > Repair)
(Steam > Game Library > right click at MELE > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)
@purya_m I have seen this bug reported before in this exact way. It seems there is a bug for those who go to save the person at the bomb site, and the work around until a patch fixes it(hopefully) is to pick the other team mate to save at the Salarians. Honestly, I pick the Salarians every time so I haven't personally seen this bug, but there is a fairly long thread on this forum about this bug.
Was that on a specific platform?
I rescued Ash on the bomb side and had no problems whatsoever.
The Salarians and the Captain are saved either way if you destroyed the com tower, the flyers and the satellite uplink.
