I listed like a couple of games I jave played in 20+ years. It would be impossible to list every. single. game. I have played. To which there is many.
I started in highschool sneaking floppy discs to the school computers of games like the original prince of persia, golden axe and wolfenstien, nibbles etc so that we could play them at lunch time. I had an original atari with games like asteroids, summer and winter games, double dragon, river raid, the cop vrs robbers one i forgot the name of it was so long ago. Then I had one with 128 built in games. After that an original nintendo and sega, all the mario games, alex kid, wonder boy, sonic the hedgehog and about 20+ various other games.
My first PC I had limited games because i just moved out of home - funds weren't forthcoming. But I managed Master of Orion 2. Fallout 1 and 2. Diablo. Civilization. Sim tower and sim city. Creatures. Black and white. Outpost (original and outpost 2), age of empires, command and conquer .. etc etc.. just some names I remeber.
I also played a ton of LA games and other adventure games, day of the tenticle, Sam and Max, Riven, Myst, the sci fi LA one i forgot the name of etc..
Then an original xbox, fable, kotor, guitar hero (actually we may have got it for the playstation originally and xbox later), I didn't play a heap on there because I was busy on my PC at the time with mmos, everquest, swg etc. I played swg full time for 8+ yrs. Did also play WoW in a raiding guild for a time.
Xbox 360 half life, halo, pinata, more guitar hero games, rock band games, mass effect trilogy, dragon age origins and da2, dead space, the lego star wars games and other lego games, fable 3,  bioshock and a whole bunch of others.
In more recent times, The Secret World, Guild Wars (1 and 2), at the moment swtor. I also have 200+ games in my steam list. All of the Saints Row games, planet explorers, civilization games including the newer one, bioshock infinate, portal, 7 days to die, age of empires, spore(+expansion), all the star wars games, landmark, the repopulation, no mans sky, empyrion, creativerse, skyrim, jade empire, banished, state of decay, dark souls, darksiders, boarderlands and again, just a few.
We also have 2 xbox ones - one of which is pretty well solely used by me. Fallout 4, inquisition, andromeda, the disney infinity games (play them with my kid), minecraft, the newest diablo, destiny and sooo on. I give up trying to list them its only a very small percent anyways. Not sure what counts as a gamer to most but pretty sure playing games every. day. Qualifies.

P.S. oh and im also a girl but i guess we don't play games either anymore than fanfiction writers and readers do 😂😂😂😂. I also never said my work was better - ive been writing a short time compaired to many. I said theres a lot of fanfiction writers whose work is better. Truth. Im a reader and ill never look back from the amazing fanfic authors ive found now.

I will put my second playtrough on hold until the game is properly fixed and maybe a dlc will came out.

It says you like to daydream withoutthe hastle of trying to turn it into a story on paper?
I loved Riven and Myst both and tbh so many others I have forgotten names for by now. I forget far more games then I can remember for sure. Riven and Myst stick because my best friend was also playing it at the same time, we bounced solutions off each other 😆😆. Same reason diablo (original and diablo 2) sticks because we used to LAN it with the guys next door (one of whom ive been in a defacto with for years and we have a daughter together, unsurprisingly he is also a game programmer 😉).

Bah, the patch that comes is going to be multiplayer nothing more, nothing less. They aren't even really doing it right, I payed attention tot he stream they did on the 5th. Their whole system for how they "got their information" is botched.

Still waiting until june 5th. Nothing by then is when we start to force their hand.

Dang, Sam and Max is taking me back. :-)  I recently grabbed the games and the sequel over at GOG.com (that place is addictive) including The Dig, Advent Rising, and the Wing Commander series which I loved as a kid. I'm tempted to dig out my old Nintendo and play some old school stuff on it but it's MIA in boxes along with my PS1. Arggh.

I haven't really been into much recent games until ME:A came along and it actually got me back into gaming. It also made me realize how few SF RPGs there are out there. Kind of sad. I would love to see more sci-fi games where you can explore space and land on planets to continue adventures including on the ship. Seems like a gap only EA/BW is filling unless the rumored Starfield is true.

Anyway, my third playthrough is currently on hold until it gets less buggy for me. I did a repair recently which kind of helped on my second PT but still, there were some issues. It's kind fo disappointing about the lack of communication and attention to SP but not too surprising these days I guess. I'll keep an ear on the ground but won't get my hopes up.

If you are looking for another sci fi give planet explorers a crack - i haven't been back in a while but its had some massive patches and even before then the sp story wasn't half bad 🙂. The VA work isnt mass effect amazing but it wasn't terrible.

The Dig! Thanks thats the name I was trying to remember and couldnt lol

We totally need more sci fi 🙂.  Although I don't mind fantasy, sci fi is far more my favorite. I even played the star trek voyager game and had some fun in the mp for it lol. Star Trek Online showed promise but I dunno. I didn’t end up enjoying it as much as I hoped. Same with the repopulation.

Also if you havent, try swtor - the story is all soloable and some of them are fantastic  (especially the imperial agent story). Totally a must play at least once for all star wars / kotor fans just for the story. Its ftp too! You can easy do the stories without a sub.

Planet Explorers? I'll definitely check that out. Thanks!

I guess I should have added also where you can choose your own character also since that is also a rarity. I was kind of bummed I couldn't play as a chick in Advent Rising but still...that didn't stop me from enjoying the Uncharted series. :-)

I agreel RPGs seem to be synonymous with fantasy since Gauntlet and BG sort of kicked off things many moons ago, but I would love to see more sci-fi since it's always been my fave genre. It's kinda funny, I think we feel opposites with TOR and STO. I really enjoyed STO and recently got back to it since we started a TNG marathon. It had been so long my husband and I restarted it from the beginning and I'm looking forward to playing the episodes again.

Whereas TOR I couldn't really get into it for some reason and I love SW like I love ST. Not sure why, but for some reason it didn't keep my interest. Maybe one day I'll try it again though. I loved KOTOR but never finished it. Need to zip back and finish that one day also but I think I got stuck at one part lol.

Not sure if they added more character custom yet but you can choose between male or female in planet explorers - it also has some story choice elements (your char isnt voiced tho iirc, just all the others are). You can pick your responses.

SWTOR in the early days wasn't much fun tbh, the combat was too difficult to make it fun. I went back about a year ago and played allll the stories. Its much more playable now 🙂 and fun. They also boosted exp so you only have to do the main planet and class stories and none of the side quests. When they run dbl xp you can  power right through the class story without having to redo the planet ones too.

STO had too much ship combat for my tastes I think. I much prefer to have my feet on the ground to flying a ship.

Agreed, But still,  there's a LOT to fix though, a lot of complaints and requests. Can't really fix 4 years in 2 months, unless they hire a LOT of crew lol... or outsource it, which is more budget.

Only to make cutscene animations look as good as in prev ME, they need a lot of motion-capture. Then fixing sound, camera, customisation, appearance and what not.

Bioware CAN make it look cool, but surely that takes time and budget. Can't wait to see the changes.
