To close this up and help anybody who might be having the same problem, I visited the support section of the N7 site and it was actually useful! It said that if you had changed your password at all you would need to resync your origin account, and I had changed my password a while ago. Went to the place where it asks you to connect accounts, selected my Origin account again, and boom, it worked. You can find clearer directions for this problem in the support section of the N7 site.
