I'd also like to be able to choose to go out in the casual outfit and not in armor. A lot of the companions don't wear armor, why do you have to? Clearly they are more badass than you are, in your armor and stuff when they don't need it *sarcasm*.
In all honesty I wish they would make all companions wear armor in the field rather then letting our char go without.
I do wish they would use the casual attire for romance cut scenes on planets though. (Like the last Liam date.) Smooching in a full suit of armor is just not sexy.
For the football game Liam specifically asks you to wear civies and your both standing fully armored. Gah.
