If you are disconnected, then how do you access the EA play app??

I don't think using outdated and potentially vulnerable versions of origin is a very good solution to this, nor do I think you should be changing your system's date just to unlock achievements. Not great advice from EA. I wont be playing this game until an actual fix is released, if not I will be refunding it, simple as. 

Where’s the vulnerability? Origin is just drm for a single player game with no online functionality.

I can agree this is a frustrating one. I have been playing since the release of ME1. One of my favorite games which is why I am here. 

@SSgt_Engee   It is still being looked into. I spoke to some folks earlier this morning about it and requested my own update. There is no ETA for when it will be resolved for players, so for now it is just about being patient. I still have some that have not been granted yet.

@UK_Mouse  Using Origin was once a step player could use when the app was in more of a pre-release "beta" kind of stage. As of now, no one is suggesting that players use anything like that. If someone did, I will take care of that on my end so it doesn't happen again.

@Boris-Rabe I get it. I lost quite a few hours of MP a couple of years ago due to a sync issue. Losing out on saves is rough. Especially when you put so much time into a game.

This is completely unacceptable. We’ve paid for a game on Steam that is still advertised as having Steam achievements. Now, thanks to the EA app which didn’t even exist at time of sale, we no longer have access to those advertised features.

I’d say EA are opening themselves up to legal action.

No ETA means, they don't know.

I mean, they’re only known about the issue for 2 years, why should anyone expect them to have an eta, let alone have fixed it by now😣

They probably had to draft some poor intern from the Dragon Age: Dreadwolf dev-team, to work on a fix during their lunch-break :D

Yep. Must be hard being one of the biggest publishers on the planet, can’t afford a single employee to fix a problems they created. I feel bad for the corpos

@EA_Shepard Thank you for keeping us in the loop and following up on the development team.

We all just hope to have the issue fixed soon. Finally we receive some kind of feedback.

The "Accepted Solution" on this post is about using Origin. You may want to undo that if that is not still the case.

It’s been a month since they’ve forced players to use the EA app over origin, and two weeks since your update, are they really going to fix this or nah? It would be better to give a flat no than keep us in the dark

@EA_ShepardQuestion.... How is them simply stopping the EA app from forcefully downloading savefiles with all archievements unlocked so difficult? Feels more like EA simply dont care about the issue... It has been more important reprogramming origin to force people into the new EA app? On a technical level fixing this doesnt sound that all difficult?

I wanted to reach out and let everyone know that I am still working on getting updates on this one. I am not personally a developer so there are a lot of questions I cannot answer as to why can't they do this or that as I wish I could. 

I put in a request this morning to get an update. And yes, I also brought up Origin being used as a workaround which no longer applies to this either. 

As soon as I get an update I will let y'all know what is happening in this situation.

With the firewall method a new issue shows as getting the achievement in game but now doesn't update EA so in game i earned it but according to the EA App i didn't.

Hi, I don't know if this will help, but I noticed by going into the achievements in the extras on the main menu, and it's telling me I have all the achievements already, even though I haven't touched ME2 and ME3 yet. So it probably has something to do with that.

This bug is starting to effect people's image of your game. This is a very widespread issue and should be escalated. The last time I saw something like this was the 0HP but in Battlefront 2.

It is a little depressing to see that this is still an ongoing issue, especially since you'd think that the companies that produce games would understand the fun in completing a game's achievement checklist.

I've got 15 achievements left to get in ME:LE, and 11 of them I should already have, but they don't pop even WITH the firewall 'fix.' It's disappointing and irritating, but not surprising.

The team is still reviewing the achievements on this. There is a workaround Here, if you want to check this out and give it a go. It is not a permanent fix but it has helped out quite a few players. We are keeping an eye out for these updates. As soon as we have one, we will post that for everyone,

Thanks for keeping us informed, your job must be tough. I did notice that ME1 also has all the achievements unlocked, so... I now have no clue where the problem is, since ME1's Achievements are unlocking for me still. Most likely the EA App, I think.

I wonder how many of users which have this issue have all achivments done in classic ME. I got strange feeling that this problem have players which master clasic ME trilog and achivments are transfered from clasic account
