Terra Firma is a completely legal political party with strong pro-human views that Shep can endorse, oppose, and, if a spacer, promise to vote for. If they are in any way connected to Cerberus it is the sort of relationship exemplified by Sinn Fein and the IRA.🤐

I personally am with you on not having SAM as the Benefactor. Its a bit of a stretch, and there are more interesting options.

Maybe the Asari Leadership (not counting Aethyta) have always rubbed me the wrong way, but their actual philosophy seems more like the Asari are in charge but we'll let the other races pretend otherwise. (I may have felt a little but of vengeful justice when the Reapers hit Thessia, see where leaving everyone to die gets you Jerks!😬)

There is this really confusing note that could be found in the kett temple addressing the benefactor or a benefactor which suggest that this "benefactor" is doing well in EOS.  Let me look for it and I will post it here again below...  Could be The Benefactor of the Andromeda Initiative but some speculate its another kett that is a benefactor to the person who wrote the note.  confusing as hell and in my opinion if it's not The Benefactor being addressed, then Bioware writers really did a poor job.  It's like calling someone sneaky Mr Illusive when there's already an illusive man in the series.  Talking about clones, am still wondering if Shep's clone survived the fall lol.  Though unlikely, I sure wouldnt mind a clone of the illusive man though, especially if it's still voiced by Martin Sheen.

Agreed on the Asari, some do seem a little elitist.  If you played the citadel DLC, those 2 Asari in the casino fits the bill, but well cant generalise an entire population based on those 2 I guess lol.  Well they do have something in common with the Hannar...  They both worship the Protheans lol!   Ok back to the benefactor.  What you mentioned about the Asari does fit the bill of the benefactor's MO as well.

Yeah, unless this is the Benefactor or Bioware just trying to screw with our heads, they should break out the old thesaurus and change that note in one of the patches.

Honestly, I had forgotten those 2 asari airheads. I was focusing on Shep's running issues with the Asari Councilor, the Matriarchs' decision to go fiddle while the Galaxy burned, and the fact that they wanted to put a hit on Liara (and I'm not counting Aethyta with the other Matriarchs because she's too cool), not to mention the huge stash of Prothean tech and warnings they didn't share, or heed.

If that's indeed the case then its just poor writing on the part of Bioware writers.  Adds to my overall disappointment to the already bad writing for MEA.  Time will tell and when MEA2 or a DLC clarifies the identity of the benefactor, I will be back to the forum once again to speak about this.

I believe there are two other communications on that terminal. Two of them hint about the transforming of Angarians to Kett (one of the minions is starting to remember. Horrific as he asking how he's remembering these people he 'never met'.)

Yup,  Aethyta's the epitome of great writing and voice acting(love Claudia Black)  She's got less than 5 mins worth of lines in ME2+ME3 and she beats every single MEA NPC(and even has more personality than some of the tempest crew!), that's why when people say the crew needs a few more games for fans to grow to love them, well, all it took for Aethyta was 5 mins of airtime.

As for Councilor Tevos...  Well...  I forgave her...  cause she's hot...  lol....  that voice...  man...

Hmm. Maybe I'm remembering a datapad/terminal in the same room or complex. But it really fit in with 'thanks for the transfer to this world'.

it's a data pad, that i can be sure about. i think somewhere around this forum i mentioned it's possible that the message in the data pad is a transcript from an intercept, the original message (or fragment) is between the benefactor and a non-kett operative, and it was intercepted by the kett & someone thought it meaningful enough to forward to command.

There is nothing there suggesting it was considered an intercepted Milky Way message. In fact, by the tone (and how they completed the message) is almost exactly how the Kett deal with superiors...

It does make me kind of curious just how far the Kett's influence extends now, also what kind of travel they may have. Clearly they can get around all of Andromeda, not just Heleus. Have to wonder how they can do that and if they can get to other systems as well. Someone obviously can because someone took out the Jardaan and there's no signs or sight of who that was in Heleus now. Doubtful the Kett did that though so there's another big bad out there yet.

the thing is, the message itself or the writing style i guess... it doesn't sound specifically kett, though it doesn't not sound like them either. i did say i considered it a possibility. and i still don't count it out at this time.

LOL....  During my first playthrough I didnt realise her father was upstairs by the bar, when I finally connected the dots it was just great lol...  I feel his pain lol....

Still with that undying hope the Benefactor is a third unknown party of one or many individuals. Just find it so annoyingly coincidental that we happen to know all the possible outcomes from a galaxy-full of inhabitants; secrecy and huge amounts of resources might not be so rare in a Galaxy, I'd wager, specially considering secrecy.

That doesn't make sense. If anyone and their dog with a conspiracy can procure the resources that are arguably greater than the Batarian Hegemony, they should be able to fight back against the Reapers just with manufacturing ships.

Secrecy, as I said. It doesn't make sense we knowing the whole potentiality of people in a whole galaxy. I prefer my way, thank you.
