Re: HDR not detected

Had the same problem with my CG437K but turning on HDR in display setting works. Do you have multiple display? I have to set show only on 1 (CG437K) to get it to work but then it kills the HDMI audio output to my receiver. Changing to Extend these displays works.

  • You using DP or HDMI? Maybe try a different cable (I know long shot). Also are you using nVidia color setting under change resolution in the nVidia control panel?

I am using a DP which has never given any problem and no, i am not using that setting.....should i?

  • Might as well give it a try, 32bit, RGB, 8 or 10 bit and see

  • Damn, I'm out of idea. Maybe post over to Steam discussion or discord and see if anyone else have the same problem and solution.

  • I'm pretty convinced that's it something in display settings as I just got back to the office today and I got the it running under HDR even on the 4K TV that's I'm using, Play with display select and and maybe nVidia control panel and just try everything.
