Re: How to use squad mates skills on the PC version?

@OrcishDonut They use their skills normally for me, but if you open your skill wheel, it should show their skills as well. Just select one and they'll use it.

Tho it's weird they are not using it normally, I played all 3 games twice already and never had issue and haven't seen anyone complaining about this either. You sure you have them set up like that?.

    Same here  i never had this issue and i finished the legendary edition  4 times, 1 i even recorded. Some times because of Liara's biotic power i failed a mission in me 1, the mission was UNC: Besieged Based, i needed to replay the mission 2-3 times to get it right, by right i mean no civilians killed.

    So, I played the game a few hours more, after the replies. What I see from the biotics, whether it's Liara or someone else, is the occasional use of Lift. And this includes the playthroughs in classic ME1/2/3. If they are using anything else, I'm not seeing it. Likewise, I don't recall ever seeing Tali or any other Tech squad mates cast Tech powers. (Side note: I picked Infiltrator for my current class; Overload looks pretty good, now that I can see it being used.)

    Update: Thinking about, I seem to recall the blond/white-haired biotic in ME4 also casting Barrier fairly often. I'm less certain about seeing it cast in other playthroughs.

    I allow my teammates to use powers as they please but usually activate them using the power screen, ie push space and bring up the "weapon wheel" choose a power from them to use and watch them use it.  I haven't played ME3 yet, but have played 4 times through ME1 and on a 5th, a partial on ME2 and a full run on ME2.  Now in ME1, the do use powers pretty much whenever I tell them too, when I have an enemy highlighted.  In ME2, I find that 90% of the time they use powers when asked too, but will sometimes glitch out and NOT use a power, which is highly annoying, but they do mostly use powers.  I have seen them use powers on their own, but I generally am directing them to use powers almost as fast as they come available in ME2, while ME1 it 50-50 with them using powers when asked or on their own.

    Thanks, I appreciate the answer. In general, I want to make use of squadmates skills. (And, in particular, I want to try Liara's Singularity skill. I don't think I've ever seen that one used.)
