I agree, I loved ME:A  and cant wait to see a DLC for the story-mode involving the Quarian ark.

But as for sequels, I am kinda hoping bio-ware/EA take a different route with ME:A.  Rather than poor massive amounts of money into a new game I'd like to see them commit to full size expansions within the same game.  Imagine every expansion, unlocking a new star cluster in Andromeda and exploring it with the same crew? Rather than struggle with the mess of trying to outdo the previous game have one evolving game that only gets better over time.

I so love this idea! I would totally throw my wallet at them if they went this way (hear that EA? Lotsa money!). Star Trek Online just released their 13th season to their other seasons and episodes and I would love something like this for Andromeda plus maybe some mini missions and customizable outposts for other settlements. It'd expand the playability of the game and really help folks to make it theirs. I'd definitely play that!

The problem is that game technology evolves and after a few years the game architecture is gonna be ancient for the devs to work with. It works for MMOS which already has lower graphical stakes, not for big AAA games. Still, for a couple of years it would be great.

True but if they do it for let's say 2-4 years while developing MEA2 they would not just earn a lot of cash but the game in a whole gets richer, and with more content and better mechanics I think the game will gett a larger fan base and so on.
