I merged your threads with the main thread about the issue.
Same problem here. Galaxy at War map just not showing. Oh, and by the way, I can't log in into EA services via Mozilla Firefox. It just won't work. Had to use Chrome.
come on @ea you mention that ports 80, 443, 8080 have to be open but we still have the same issue on the 5th nov 2019 please look into it as its still not fixed like you said on the 1st
- Has anyone found a solution to this yet? It’s kinda irritating that I can’t max out my EMS.
Hello all,
i have had ALL of the same issues as you.
i was playing ME3 trilogy and just got the 3rd ME about 2-3 weeks ago. i just got to a point where i wanted to increase my galactic readiness so i started playing last week around the end of OCTOBER. i only got in about 2 days of online play to max out my readniess for the higher EMS rating. im OCD so i wanted the 100% for game completion.I have my readiness at 98% overall. BUT my game just started LAST WEEK ( around end of October) and I have not been able to access the galaxy at war map / feature since Tuesday last week 29 OCTOBER 2019. I fear EA ended the ME online feature for this.
i have contacted EA support and so far NO success. I have tried many things.
1. uninstall - reinstall game2. checked and updated N7HQ site
3. updated all EA account info
4. updated all Origins info
5. did a very elborate trouble shoot process , this was the process :
step one : go to setting -> network settings-> advanced settings -> alternative Mac address -> Clear
then it restartsstep two: shut down xbox manually -> unplug xbox power pack from wall , wait 2 min -> plug in and wait until power block goes FROM WHITE to
ORANGE, once orange, start console manually.
step three: CLEAR PERSISTENT STOARAGE -> if hard wired to internet remove cable - if wireless, go to settings --> network settings -> disconnect
from your network
then reconnect to network -> menu button -> settings -> blue ray & disc -> Blue ray -> persistent storage -> clear it 3 times
step four : POWER CYCLE XBOX ONE
1. while console is on, press and hold the consoles xbox button ( power) for 5 seconds until it shuts itself off.
2. the console will power down
3. wait 30 seconds , then turn on your xbox by pressing the xbox button.
*** i found that if you have an external hard drive attached it may prevent your xbox from turning back on, so I unplugged mine and plugged it back in each time once the xbox was on.
this should have cleared all empty or unneeded data and rebooted served issues with online feature problems. Nope. this was a waste of time to me but at leaset i can say i tried it.
next, i was told to edit all account associated with EA and ME. change all codes to match and update them all and re-sync N7HQ. I tried that and did not work.
lastly, i was told to day that the game may not be accessible anymore due to its age and I believe EA made a statement this week ( November 1st) that some games and thier online feature may be discontinued to make room for current games and future games - it saddens them but they have to make this choice. ( can anyone confirm this? )
i hope you all the best of luck. sadly something is going on and I fear EA ended this portion of the game - though it is strange we can still play multiplayer.
best of luck to you all - I just wanted to share what I have been through so far.
cheers,
Rob
If they are planning to not support this feature going forward i wish they allow us to tweak it to some degree. Mine is stuck at 100% which means that my galactic readiness is over 4000+ when I start a single player campaign. But I think this has happened in the past so there's still hope that it could be fixed in the future.
what has ea said about this
I am having this issue as well. Any update EA?
Was this feature discontinued? I haven't seen any official information about MP and Galaxy at War support.
EA, please provide feedback.I think best thing to do until we hear anything official on whether or not the galaxy at war service is discontinued or not it’s treat this as a glitch or a bug in the server until someone from ea officially give us information I would also recommend just to give precise information on your platform that you’re playing on and what troubleshooting have you tried the more information given to support team the more help it Will be
I think if they had stpoped theywould have announced it I suspect. I've no tseen anything asyimng they were planning to abandon it.
They are aware of i tas one of their CM's has been on here but it's a case of seeing what their response is. Plus outside of the site the gamres are still working it's just the site itself that isn't. I think we just need to be patient and se ewha tthe response is given that the rtilogy is playable throuhg the backwards compatibity thing on XB1 it's hard to see why they'd abandon it at least not yet.
Yeah I'm just treating i tas a bug atm and jus tcontinuing on best I can with my trilogy run and see what happens
I've just been in contact with EA's helpcenter and talked with a nice indian man named Satender. He informed me that there's a problem with the n7HQ site that effectively ruins the whole galaxy at war map, progress etc. He also told me that the N7HQ team is on it and trying to fix the problem ASAP, and politely asked me to wait and just try again regularly.
- @Maltanoro Thank you for the info. I was afraid EA had decided to close this feature. I'm glad it's a punctual bug and they're trying to fix it.
Yeah tbh I think now that EA are aware of the problem it's all we can do. Just keep trying every so often and hope that eventually it starts working again as it just makes the whole Galactic radiness rating and stuff pointless without it. Also given it does affect MP ratings and such as well by tracking that it kind of needs to be working. That's the problem when you make games that have both singl eplayer and MP elements tha trely on each other becaus ewhen th eMP section fails it literally desrtys the whole point of the game. I only really use the wa rthing to boost up my redainess for the single player but it's still a pain in the neck to see this happen because if there was an offline way of getting the readiness up that was as easy to use as this I would use it. Yes you can still get the good endings without it if you do all the DLC's and stuff but it still makes for a nice mini game building the readiness up whilst playing through the trilogy. The only good thing is atm the rating is not going down even if I can't get it to go up.
following a chat with EA as well I can confirm that EA are looking into the issue reported by a number of people, there is no Time frame on repair (eg. is exceeded SLA, ) but is still being investigated, (a great N7 day bit of news - its broke and we don't know how to fix it, lol)
according to EA : Nitesh: Okay! i just checked with the team and i've just been told that a lot of players are currently facing this issue e may not have a specific turnaround time: However, I can assure you we’re doing everything we can to get this working at the earliest. Hey everyone!
There is a potential workaround for you to try out!
Try to re-sync your account and then re-enter your password on the Galaxy at War page.
/Atic @EA_Atic no luck. N7HQ is still saying the servers are unavailable, and the in game galaxy at war isnt loading either
Thanks a bunch, my galaxy at war appears to be back as well.

Multiplayer/connection works again as before, but my N7HQ page still shows nothing.
- @blue_three86 then you must re-sync your profile, link is on the support section on n7hq page, and relogin again

@TheLastJedi44I've done that... several times now. And it's not doing a thing for me. I never changed my EA password to begin with. I created it only recently.
When I click on "re-sync your account" (on the Support page), I get taken to this. I'm logged in without an issue.
The topic has been marked as solved for some reason. Maybe it's because the thread was merged with another one. My original issue definitely still remains.
The Galaxy at War percentages aren't the issue. They actually show just fine. They show on the site just as they are in-game. For some reason that is the only thing that updates.
What doesn't show (and you can see that from your end) is all the other data.

I've played multiplayer for two weeks or so now, for a total of about twelve hours maybe. But the data just doesn't appear on my page. It's all zeros.
Multiplayer works. Galaxy at War is showing. The problem is that none of my stats are reflected on the website, so there's certain things I can't do (like choosing backgrounds etc).

Also, how is this even possible?
Having played a certain amount of time (and having promoted a character/class before), I feel like my rating should definitely be something other than "0". When joining a game/in the lobby, it says I'm 47.
Also, why does my name not appear in the other leaderboards (global and country one)?
My multiplayer appears to be borked in some way and even the guys at EA don't seem to be able to help me out.
After you click on "Re-sync your account" Save Changes:
(You can use "Public" as well)
Then log out and in again.
