same, 750gb free and Apex Legends says error right away, the folders are all configured how they are suposed to be

FIXED!!!!!! I have more than one hard drive and I tried EVERYTHING multiple times. Low and behold the entire problem was that my D: drive was FAT32 file system instead of NTFS. After converting the disk (instructions can be found in a google search) and rebooting, the game finished downloading and everything works great! Hope this helps!

thanks @PCSFlorida i was suffering with this problem but ur method worked after i converted my file from fat32 to ntfs it worked for the people who wants to know how to convert here is the link that taught me to do it ( https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/85893-convert-fat32-ntfs-without-data-loss-windows.html ) hope this helps and also origin i wish u fix it
