On Xbox One, I also have the issue where the intro conversation with Miranda and The Illusive Man uses the generic dialogue from the Genesis DLC, and a prompt appears asking if I want to review the story with the Genesis comic (I declined) which probably shouldn't show for an imported save.
I don't have any of the other issues Stretchable is suggesting. Later conversations after the intro with Miranda/Jacob and Tali on Freedom's Progress reflected my decisions from the imported save (e.g. I was able to select the dialogue with Tali about having given her the data for her pilgrimage).@DocTheGamerI agree the freedom's progress mission is fine as tali does reflect the choice where you gave her the geth data. Its just the intro dialogue with Miranda and the illusive man where saving the council and selecting the human representative are not reflected and on the pre-mission dialogue before the freedom's progress mission where you are tested on your memory by Miranda and Taylor. this happens whether I chose to do the recap comic or not.
@Stretchable I don't have this issue either. The pre-mission dialogue with Miranda and Jacob correctly reflected my background and decision on Virmire. I was able to choose between Anderson and Udina in that conversation, which has always been the case for ME2.

Miranda, in her initial conversation with The Illusive Man, does not correctly recount the events of the first game.in my play-through of ME1, I saved the council which was not mentioned. The generic non-import dialogue was spoken instead.
To confirm I did select the option to import my ME1 character which gave me the string of choices from ME1.

This is high on my list of things I hope they fix. I think it may be tied to the Genesis DLC, because it's the default "no import + Genesis" conversation. It's very awkward how they just recycled archive footage, including one line you hear again half an hour later.
I believe this bug is universal. I haven't read a confirmation yet that someone did get the right conversation.
- @AlphaBovine I actually really hate this. The opening of ME2 is one of my favorites in any video game. Scenic, with Miranda and the Illusive Man gazing out at a star, and discussing what Shepard had accomplished. In the original game (on PC and Xbox), Miranda says either of these lines, depending on whether or not you saved the Council in ME1:
"Shepard did everything right, more than we could have hoped for. Saving the Citadel, even saving the Council. Humanity has the trust of the entire galaxy -- and still it's not enough."
"Shepard did everything right, more than we could have hoped for. Saving the Citadel, but leaving the Council to die. Humanity's place in the galaxy is stronger than ever - and still it's not enough."
The LE version of ME2 uses the PS3 version of the intro, acting like it doesn't know whether you saved the Council or not (even though you already imported your save file from ME1). After the first sentence, the Illusive Man interjects "Commander Shepard uncovered the truth", instead of Miranda saying what Shepard actually did. It's an awfully clunky line, jarring, and tarnishes one of my favorite game openings. Meaning ME2LE can never be the definitive version of ME2 with such a glaring change to the opening. Is there any way for BioWare to restore the original opening?
#MirandaSaidShepardSavedTheCitadel Here's another thread for the same issue.
Full agree that this is top of my list for things I hope they fix, just behind the broken finger-to-ear animation. It'd be a real bummer to start off every ME2 playthrough with this.
- @DocTheGamer Thanks, I just started ME2 and did a search to see if anyone else had this issue, this was the thread that came up.
