I've no reason to believe there is an issue here.

Some people are reporting that pre-loads have started:

But as far as I know, these roll-out regionally on a staggered basis, so just because someone else has it doesn't mean you will.

Xbox pre-loading is normally automatic (unless disabled in settings) when the console periodically checks for updates. You can go into 'Manage' and check 'Updates' yourself to beat the automation process, but if it's not rolled-out yet where you live, then obviously it'll report as not yet available.

I don't believe trying to use the Xbox app or site to download gains you anything unless it was already lined up to pre-load anyway.

Either way, no-one can play it for a week, so whether the update drops today or in the next couple of days for you, there should be no problem here.

Not seeing it in UK either.

But no action until next Friday so either way no problem. I'm sure it will update over the coming days.

From what i can see via Origin PC you can start the download on 12 May at 6:00 PM EEST

The UK will OBVIOUSLY be last, have to wait till launch day. You cant expect pre loading luxuries when London is under attack by reapers 😉

There was a download there now but it's only 20.77 GB? 'confused'

Hey everyone, we just got a bit of clarity on the file sizes and as expected they're pretty close to what was reported!

Xbox: Initial download of 21.26 GB (ME1 only), ME2 and ME3 update 66.85GB, total: 88.11GB

PS EU: Initial download of7.426 GB, total: 101.679 GB

PS NA: Initial download of 6.59 GB, total 80.623 GB 

Origin: 100.21 GB

Steam: 99.9 GB

Ok so the 21GB is Mass Effect 1 

Then will ME2 and ME3 download by May 13 for the release on May 14? Thanks for clarifying this been wondering since yesterday what the issue is. 

Can you please ask the team what the next rollout phase will be for Series X owners?  My Internet is quite slow and downloading (66.85GB + 11GB day one patch) will take a full day or more.  I pre-ordered digitally to start playing as soon as possible and really hope EA isn't going to let me down in that regard!

On Xbox only 20 GB since Yesterday.

Same here ,still nothing on Xbox while on pc ,ps4 ans ps5 they can download it,maybe EA can be worry of this situation ,on Microsoft store they said the game is 21 .26 go ,are EA sure that there is a full preload of the game or we must wait the 14 may at midnight to download the entire game

Same here, finished the pre-loading around 30 minutes ago, it would heave been great if there was access to game based on dates for example with the pre-loading to start playing ME 1,tomorrow me 2 and on 14 the me 3, the waiting is killing me 🙂

In regards to game Release those that have Xbox have received messages stating the game will be released on the 13th not the 14th but when you look at the store it still says the 14th I would appreciate if you could give some clarification on this matter and it’s not just Xbox.

This morning (9 am CET/Netherlands time) my ps4 said this: 

1. It's 7pm at the time of posting and according to the timer I can play at 2pm tomorrow aka the 13th of may. So i am also still confused about the release time... But according to this website this is incorrect and I can start playing 5pm on may 14th?

The only Release time confirmed on this board is the Release time for PC.
It is entirely possible that the consoles have a different release time, for example 0:00AM in ever region.

But there is just no info about that yet.

Official release day is the 14th of May.

Yes from my understanding it will release at the same moment for everyone which happens to be a different clock time depending on your time zone. The countdown timer I found here matches with the time I’m given in the Xbox store (May 13 11:00pm). And that time in the Xbox store changes with your consoles timezone setting it looks like.

Edit: I guess it’s not how I understand it as I see screenshots of peoples game that has a shorter counter. Unless it just releases hours earlier on PlayStation?
