Re: Tasks and Quests (SP)

Manifestos are doable but there is no objective marker, I you tube it, I have also done the movie night but planet side quests should have mission markers to save running around aimlessly

  • It was mentioned in the patch thread that the nomad shield quest bug was fixed.  See Below

Also done the manifestos one before so its not a bug, perhaps the request should be proper map markers rather than a bug fix?  I have one that's not on the list, the sick guy in kedara that needs medication, we found the plant from the 2 druggies but never able to complete it, and this is not even stated as a task/quest to begin with, so definitely a bug and if it's intended not to be a quest then remove the entire dialog, cause it misleads and frustrates players.

While I've only had one task, Shielding on the Nomad, that wouldn't clear (which is listed as a fix in 1.06), there are some tasks that are not really bugged, but you don't really know where to go.  The Roekaar Manifestos and Naming the Dead are the two that stick in my mind as just being somewhat annoying (for a completionest player) as there are no map markers or even totals of how many you should find.  Many tasks at least have a number such  as: Bodies on Kadara 0 of 5, or Drone Recovery 0 of 6, so at least you know if you are close to completion (those  quests also have  quest markers on the map that give you the general area).  But if I can't see the total I need, or a marker as to where to go, am I really going to search the map for a body or a disc?  Probably not, even though I hate leaving tasks/quests incomplete.
