Re: Why can't I access my DLC's?
I'm on an xbox actually. I kind of figured I would need to redownload my stuff. Unfortunately internet is difficult for me to get sometimes as my job keeps me moving around and hotel internets suck. What I really wanted to know is why this happens. I hate the shift going on with videogames. I had to stop playing mass effect on my computer because Origin was so much of a problem, and I could hardly ever play my campaign just because I wasn't connected to the internet. It's not just xbox or computer games either. I have game apps on my phone that won't let me play them anymore unless my phone is connected to the internet. I think this crap is ridiculous. I understand that game companies have to take steps to ensure their content isn't being stolen or replicated, but it shouldn't be at the expense of loyal, paying customers. Also, it doens't do much to deter game theft and copying anyway, as people are still doing it even with these safeguards in place. I really think that gamers need to start a movement to take back their games. When you pay full price ($60 in some cases) for a game, you should be able to play it whenever you want, not just IF you have internet connection. I actually start to feel like I paid full price for a game that is still not being given to me. If this trend continues, and gamers like myself are left unable to play their games simply because of we are unable to get decent internet connection, then at the very least, I believe the price of games should be lowered.
