resolved then unresolved this game won't launch from origin and nothing is working
hi i've been playing mass effect 2 on my pc for a fair while and this morning it just decided it wouldn't run. I have been online with a tech support guy named Om, my case number is case 14189866. In the end i downloaded Mass effect 2 in the hopes that rather than running from my trilogy installation a digital installation would work. I am quite angry now because i have wasted most of my day trying to resolve the issue without success.
I click on play in origin and nothing happens, mass effect 2 will not launch. i've tried my hard copy installation, a digital download instillation - nothing works. I've been playing this game for a few weeks now and haven't had a problem nothing updated or changed in my system and i don't understand what the hell is going on. I'm not out of memry, the game has been running fine and I just don't understand how all of a sudden it can stop working.
i'm on windows 8.1 if that means anything to anyone, but don't say it means i'm not using compatability mode or anything because i have tried everything. I have erased this game entirely and re-installed it both from disk and through download and this is not a happening thing for me
it has worked previously - i have half an LP online to prove that.
no matter what i do it will not launch, and i know origin isn't buggered because titanfall runs just fine
