Screen Resolution problem
The other day I began to have a problem with my ME3 in-game screen resolution, where the default setting had changed to a much lower resolution.
On the in-game menu, I selected extras / options / graphics but the normal choice of 1920x1080 wasn't there, and now for some reason the maximum resolution available is now only 1600x1200. I chose 1600x900 as it fits best, but man, it's chunky!
I checked the config utility in the binaries folder on my PC and sure enough, the highest available resolution is still only 1600x1200.
In the config utility the readings are:
ME3 settings
Windowed - Full Screen
Window mode - borderless
Aspect Ratio - Widescreen (16:9)
Resolution - 1600x900
etc
System
Display
Resolution - 1920 x 1080 x 32bpp
With everything else my screen resolution is working normally, it's only with ME3 that I have this problem. I checked my PC's Display Properties and everything is normal and set to 1920x1080.
I tried a repair install but everything seemed fine and nothing's changed. I tried rebooting but the problem persists. This all seems very bizarre. Am I missing something? I play ME3 a lot so this is definitely new and wrong. I'm pretty sure it started after an Origin update.
