So which packs to buy for boosters ?

Right now the options to buy a specific pack for boosters is rather thin. Supply pack gives you 4 of those consumables (rpg,revive,first aid,thermal clip) & just one booster. Basic pack also gives you 4 of the above & just one booster. Advanced packs cost 20k & give 2 boosters. But why would i buy a advanced pack for boosters when i could spam 10 supply packs & get 10 instead of just 3 ? The higher level packs give you 3 each which unfortunately also include any 2 of the supply pack consumables. So if i want to stack up on say ammo types (cryo,incendiary or disruptor) or other power based consumables there is no specific low,mid or higher tier packs to spam. Why don't BW introduce 2-3 booster packs type according to level & rarity to help address this issue ?

Also why is there no limit on the 4 consumables types we get in supply packs like ME3 ? I don't think we need to stock up on thousands of these after a certain point. After reaching a limit say 500 we should start getting boosters in place of those 4 consumables. This idea could have been simply copied from ME3 & made it better but i dunno why they didn't.
