[Spoiler] Refugees on Kadara - follow-ups?

Has anyone found a follow-up for the refugees in the badlands? You have the one task - fixing the comm array so the asari can chat with her mom - but there's also a turian npc doctor that's like "did you bring any medicine" for a writhing npc in the hut. It may be nothing, but if you talk to the salarian he'll give you some lamps and then if you respond to the dope-heads out in the bush they'll take the lamp and they say you can take some space hash. I went back to the refugees but I did not have an option to give the writhing dude anything. Maybe it's a dead end but thought to ask.

Also that mysterious button is seriously the best part of this whole damn game.

I have also ran into this and seen several posts in other places about it. So far, no one seems to know how to get it to work so I am pretty sure it is bugged.

    Same problem for me.

After completing "Task: Herbal Entrepreneurs" I cannot give the "antibiotic plant" to the Turian refugee... I believe that particular task is "Task: Running a Fever" - which does not show up in my journal at all.

My order of operations was: Found the Nexus refugees, talked to everyone inside (got the UV light) and then completed "Task: Broken Family" by repairing the comm equipment. I did the anti-AI hackers (Knight) next, then left the planet to craft the item for that. Returned, went north and got the Outlaw SOS which led me to the stoners. Gave them the UV light, scanned the plants (no option to pick any up). No further Tasks started, and I was unable to give the plant to the refugees.

  • I had this issue too. I really wanted to help the refugees and do more projects with them, possibly making them a power for good in the Badlands, so I was bummed that with TWO super meds on the planet I couldn't do anything for this guy😢
