[Steam] Achievements are not populating in the library

Hello,

I've stumbled on an issue with Steam achievements. They are not popping up as they should, even though I get the achievements in the EA app. There they show up fine but I want to progress my Steam achievements as well. Unfortunately the work arounds I've been testing out have not worked for me. So far I have tried:

1. Deleting folders from C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts and C:\ProgramData\Origin, rebooting my computer and testing again, no dice.

2. I've deleted GamerProfile -file from Documents\BioWare -folder, rebooted PC and EA launcher, no dice.

3. I turn the EA app into Offline -mode every time I launch the ME:LE game from Steam, this seemed to work on the first try and two achievements came through however it stopped working after that

4. Tried looking for the Origin launcher to install that, however it was only available on sketchy dropbox shares and decided against it

EA support chat forwarded me here and I've been looking through and seems that this problem has been going around for awhile, however no official fixes seem to be available. I sincerely hope someone could give me a clue what to do so I can get Steam achievements to work again. And hopefully they fix this bug..

    Update on the situation, not sure if EA has done something on the background or what but now achievements are showing up and popping on to Steam as they should.

    I did Repair installation on EA app to the game and accidentally launched the game from EA app. Then it showed me as playing ME:LE on Steam and achievements showed up normally again. Not sure if EA has done something or the repair from EA app did it but looks like it works now.. Somehow

    Also, I've noticed that when I launch ME:LE on Steam, it does not show up as I'm playing it in Steam at all

    @Reddie90 Achievements have been called out a few times with Steam. That is something the team(s) have to look into with Steam. It can be a huge pain as we have to kind of wait around to see what happens.

    Do you have the game and both the EA app/Steam on the same drive?

    Do other games show achievements? Like if you jumped into DA or Apex or something? Is it just MELE?

    Hopefully some kind of solution is being worked on as I've seen complaints regarding this issue going back over a year..

    EA app and Steam are on the same drive, ME:LE is on a different drive from them.

    I cannot say if the problem is only in ME:LE, as I do not have any other EA app game bought from Steam.

    After doing some testing it seems the problem is only on ME:LE.

    I also moved it to the same drive where Steam and EA app are and there was no change.

    @Reddie90 I am checking up on the achievements as I have a Dead Space thread with similar. Achievements have been a thing for a while. Being on Steam and not the EA app can prolong any type of resolution due to Steam not being the EA app so we have to reach out to other teams to follow up on issues relating to that platform's achievements.

    @Reddie90 That is great! They are making a lot of updates on the backend as multiple titles have reported achievements. I can see a lot of non-EA games reporting that too so it looks like some updates were pushed at some point.
