[Steam] Game Continues To Run After Closing

Game continues to run in Steam after quitting the game's launcher interface. Appears to quit in the EA App but not Steam. Clicking on "X Stop" does not stop the game either. Just changes from "X Stop" to "Stopping" indefinitely. Only way to stop it is to shut down Steam.
