Definitely bugged. see also bug report: "Kett Base on EoS cannot enter Zenith Observation Room. Additional problems.
After a several waves of invisible Kett with infinite spawns. While I finally finished (Kett sure repaired those front guns fast), hopped into the Nomad, drove off into the sunset and it won't let me fast travel - "in battle" it says, even though I'm kilometers away from the generator - and of course, IT WON'T LET ME SAVE YET... WHAT A POOR DESIGN DECISION... I've already had several corrupt autosave files that go on infinite load and I have go to a previous file.
At times, the game doesn't provide proper locations of where to go for the next stages - ran around lost quite a few times with no clue as to where the next stage should be.
EDIT: So I went back to the generator - fully populated (again), front guns repaired (again) - don't know how many time you have to kill these before the game lets go. Will do one more round of it and give up - wished I knew it was such a severe problem and will skip it on my next character. Still can't save, fast travel. What an annoyance...
EDIT: Killed them all. Still can't fast travel or SAVE. I used T to go off planet. When I checked the missions, "Defeating the Kett" was completed, thankfully, but I never really got that impression. Still a place I won't visit again until I know for certain it's been patched.
I'm having similar issues, I get through the base, turn off the alarms and sheilds, when I kill all the kett in the base the mission objective changes to "reach the command center", but the elevator is locked. I cant interact with the elevator door, nothing I do seems to change that. When I go off-planet and come back, the mission resets completely and then repeats the same bug. I'm literally unable to finish the mission because the game locked me out.
If you are on a PC did you tried repair the game?
(EA app: Game Library > Click on the three dots on the game cover > Repair)
(Steam: Game Library > Right-click the game > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)Furthermore, this thread is old and has not been used in over four years.
