SUGGESTION/QUESTION: Mod Tools

First I must say, I love the game, even though it has its flaws. It is a great foundation and the core aspect "Exploring" works amazingly well for me and I am looking forward to the DLCs and especially the Quarians. 

Back in late 2016 Mike Gamble hinted that there might be a possibility that you might change your stand on mod support and releasing tools for MEA in the future. .

Is that an option that is actively discussed at BW/EA?  

I believe MEA has what it takes to become the Elder Scrolls of Science Fiction!

    When I first saw the in-game character creation, I tweeted begging for a release of an sdk for the character creation module, so the 'amateur' modders could provide something  'professional'. So yes, I would like to see a creation kit released.

    Even if they release a watered down version of the Dev Tools, something to tackle these little things and allows for customization of Models, Textures, etc.... That would be amazing!

    With ME, ME2 and ME3 you could at least do some stuff without a proper mod tool (INI mods or TexMod for example), because it was based on the UE3 Engine.  

    I am honestly pissed at the entire industry that Use Generated Content is treated so badly. I don't know when the shift happened, but earlier BioWare supported fan efforts and it is insane.

    I can say this: I won't be purchasing this game until it has an active modding community. That won't happen until there's some sort of mod toolkit released.

    So, you heard it BioWare/EA. You want my hard-earned cash, help the modders out.

    I hope people will still voice their opinion though.
